Founded by the Moody family in 1925 as New Castle Duntile, an excavation company based in Lawrence County, PA

1995

Purchased by James Carna and became Castle Builders Supply, now a leading ready-mix concrete services company with plants in Aliquippa, Hermitage, Neville Island, New Castle and Pittsburgh

Present

Becomes a subsidiary of Lindy Group, the largest asphalt paving contractor and manufacturer in Western Pennsylvania

DRIVERS

Concrete is perishable, so you’ll rarely drive further than 50 miles from our plants. Our jobs are weather-dependent, and we are customer-driven, so we pour when the customer and the weather dictate. You’ll always be home at the end of your shift, but flexibility is a plus. Additional benefits include:

• Overtime after 10 hours/day or 40 hours/week

• Additional $1 per hour for nightwork

• Union teamsters

• Full paid training program at the same pay as our employee drivers
